Thank you for sharing your query with me and for considering me for your work. I truly appreciate the time and effort that goes into writing and this process, and I'm honored to have had the chance to consider your work. After careful review, I've decided to pass at this time—unfortunately, this is not the right fit for me.
While I truly appreciate the opportunity to consider your story, I didn't find myself connecting strongly with your style of storytelling, which is ultimately a matter of personal taste rather than a reflection on the quality of your work. I was incredibly intrigued by the premise, and for that reason I'm saddened to be stepping aside. I'm sorry to say I'm not the right agent for this project, but I wish you all the best in finding the perfect match!
Please remember that publishing is highly subjective, and another agent may feel differently. I encourage you to keep querying, keep writing, and keep believing in your story—the right champion for your work is out there!
Best,
Nikki Carrero
