"Thank you for thinking of me and sending your query about xxx. This is an incredibly interesting concept, and I enjoyed these pages.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'm a match for this project, as I'm simply not certain enough about my ability to sell this manuscript to take it on at this time. Publishing is very subjective, and you deserve an unequivocally enthusiastic agent as your advocate. I may well be wrong, and you should definitely get other agents’ opinions.
I thank you for the chance to consider your work, and I wish you success in finding it a home."
Sometimes an agent response seems personalized when it is just their standard form, so it's really kind of her to offer what looks like a little genuine personalization in many of her rejections.

Super bummed about this one! They had so many wonderful things to say about the craft of the novel, worldbuilding and my writing, but cited being "unable to conceptualize a clear plan on how to best position this manuscript for success in the crowded market. I wish I had the perfect idea of who to send this to, but I'm just not certain enough to take this on."
All things aside, this is just the publishing game and Lee offered what is possibly the best kind of rejection to receive. They were super encouraging and provided wonderfully in depth and positive comments, and it's clear close attention was taken with reading my work. Lee clearly loves the job - I highly recommend querying them, and I will certainly be looking to them in the future with my future manuscripts if I don't find myself agented sooner!
