At this point Ellen requested a call to chat about where the MS was headed (like a verbal synopsis).
I’ve never had an agent do that before but it was so wonderful and humanizing. We had a really lovely chat and she asked for the full 1/22.

I ultimately signed with another agent because I identified more strongly with their revision notes but let me tell you- Ellen is so kind and fun and generous with her time. She would be such a great person to have in your corner. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to spend a few hours (cumulatively) getting to know her and chatting about my work.
