Agent’s auto response said answer in approx. 12 weeks
Polite nudge on 2/23/26 (140 days=20 weeks)
CNR on 3/15/26 (160 days)
UPDATE: really nice FR on 3/27/26 (172 days) Possibly semi-personalized saying she "was holding onto it for a while because I was really drawn in by the premise." I've seen a few other MS get that response, which is why I think it's possibly semi-personalized.

Nice personalized rejection at 172 days. I would’ve loved brainstorming ways to pitch it to publishers with her, but alas :/

“Thank you for your query and your extreme patience awaiting word back. I appreciate the opportunity to consider xxx and was holding onto it for a while because I was really drawn in by the premise. Ultimately though, I'm afraid I don't have the right vision for how to best position this one to publishers so I'm going to bow out here. I wish you all the best in finding the right advocate for your work, and I'll be rooting for you from here.”

Nudged @ 173 days, got this in response. TL;DR she's not going to be back for several months.

Thank you for sharing your query with me. I apologize for the long wait -- and now I must ask you to wait a little longer. I am heading out on maternity leave and will return to my computer at the end of the summer. With this in mind, I know I may miss out on the opportunity to consider some truly wonderful material. Should you find other representation while I'm away, I wish you all the best! And if you would prefer to withdraw your query at this time, I understand.

I will return to this inbox in late summer/early fall and look forward to reviewing your work at that time, if it's still available.

Best wishes,
Pam
